We slept well again last night with the
family in Lat
Krabang.
It was agreed a few days ago that we will go to Buriram for a weekend.
Kaeng and Moue have to pick up a car (a used car from Kaeng's sister) there and it is
too far to go up and down in one day.
We have to come along because Tom can drive the old Toyota back.
Via Chachoengsao and Sa Kaeo we drive to the east and from there to the north.
This seems to be a faster route, at least less busy, but it is a route that takes a lot of
dual carriageways.
Near Buriram we have to go to a PTT gas station in Nang Rong, where Kaeng has arranged to
meet his sister, who lives in or near a Dhamakaya temple.
Kaeng does not want his sister to see that more people have come along, because then the
temple must be visited and nobody wants that.
We, and the rest, drive straight to Buriram where we will look for a hotel.
After looking around at hotels that we don't like, we stop at the Cross Vibe Buriram hotel.
Pia and Moue go and have a look and for 1500 Thb per room, including breakfast, we rent two
rooms, it is no problem that the children of Kaeng and Moue sleep in the same room, but
they have to pay extra for the children's breakfast.
The hotel is new, modern and very comfortable.
In the evening we eat in the restaurant of the hotel, Thai and Western food, tasty, and not
very expensive.
